The voter registration offices in all 1,652 communes/Sangkat nationwide opened simultaneously at around 7 a.m. on 7 October 2026 at commune/Sangkat halls to provide services to citizens wishing to revise the voter lists or register to vote, despite flash floods affecting some areas of certain communes/Sangkat.
Please be informed that this year's voter lists revision and voter registration process at the commune/Sangkat level will last 55 days, from 7 October to 30 November 2026. The process will be conducted daily, including Saturdays and Sundays, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The National Election Committee (NEC) invites:
- Citizens who registered to vote in previous years to check their names and personal data in the Official Voter Lists 2025 displayed at commune/Sangkat halls and at a designated public place in each commune/Sangkat, or check their information via the NEC website at voterlist.nec.gov.kh or through the NEC KH (Mobile App). If any data on the voter lists is not recorded correctly, the concerned applicant may request to the voter registration team for adjustment of name, sex, date of birth, or wishing to change polling station within the same commune/Sangkat or to update their voter registration documents.
- Citizens who registered to vote in 2016 and 2017 and have not yet updated their biometric data in the voter lists are invited to visit the voter registration teams to update their photographs and fingerprints.
- Citizens who will be at least 18 years old by the election day of Commune/Sangkat Councils Election for the 6th Mandate 2027, born on or before 7 June 2009 or those who have relocated their residence or lodging into new commune/Sangkat, are invited to register to vote.
The NEC calls on all election stakeholders to continue disseminating this information, facilitating citizens' participation, and cooperating in accordance with their respective roles and responsibilities to ensure that the voter list revision and voter registration process is conducted smoothly and successfully, in compliance with the laws, regulations, and procedures in force.
