On 11 April 2017, A total of 12 political parties, which had officially registered their candidate lists standing for the 4th Mandate of Commune/Sangkat Council Election 2017, submitted the application forms to register a total of 36,712 permanent agents including 7,191 females and a total of 30,713 reserved agents including 7,436 females.
