23rd July 2021 is the last day of the electoral campaign for the Election of Bokor Municipal Council of Kampot Province, one of the four political parties conducted campaign activities as follows:
- Cambodian People’s Party: 200 members gathered during the closing electoral campaign with 80 vehicles and 30 motorbikes, and loudspeakers were played at the political party’s headquarters in the municipality, Sangkat and villages.
- The other 3 political parties did not conduct any campaign activity.
The electoral campaign started from 16th to 23rd July 2021 and the four political parties contesting in the election conducted campaign activities based on the possibility of each political party to seek the support from the voters such as playing loudspeakers, distributing leaflets, meetings and marching.
“The electoral campaign during the eight days has been conducted in a safe, well-organized and secure manner,” said Dr. Te Chinnarith, Chief of Kampot Provincial Election Commission, monitoring today’s campaign activities. He added that the participants in the electoral campaign properly implemented and followed the Covid-19 control measures in accordance with the guideline of the Ministry of Health.
It is noted that the electoral campaign shall start from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and marches or rallies organized by groups of pedestrians or vehicles of all kinds in the constituency shall be conducted twice during the electoral campaign.
