The National Election Committee (NEC) would like to inform all national and international media outlets that the news coverage on the process of Voter Lists Revision and Voter Registration 2026, are required to have a press card issued by the NEC.
To obtain the media press, a journalist shall submit a registration application form at the NEC.
Submission and Reception Registration Application Forms for national and international journalists with a permanent office in the Kingdom of Cambodia shall be attached herewith:
- A copy of permit issued by the Ministry of Information
- A copy of press card issued by the Ministry of Information or associations or journalist’s
identity card of concerned organization which is valid and recognized by the Ministry of Information
- Curriculum vitae with a photo posted and one 4 x 6 photo for press card
- A copy of the passport (for foreigners).
Submission and Reception Registration Application Forms for international journalists without a permanent office in the Kingdom of Cambodia shall be submitted in person at the National Election Committee or by E-mail: info@nec.gov.kh as attached herewith:
- A copy of passport;
- A press card of concerned organization units or competent authority
- Mission letter of the concerned unit
- Curriculum vitae with a photo posted and one 4 x 6 photo for press card
Submission and Reception Registration Application forms as an independent journalist shall be attached herewith:
- A copy of permit issued by the Ministry of Information or valid journalist associations.
- Curriculum vitae with a photo posted and one 4 x 6 photo for press card
- The three last articles published in authorized papers in the lates year.
The application forms and modality for a press card are provided for free of charge at the NEC headquarters (5th floor) located at Samdech Sothearos Boulevard, Tonle Bassac Sangkat, Chamkar Mon Khan, Phnom Penh, or can be downloaded from the NEC Website at www.nec.gov.kh/khmer/content/9492.
Once the form is completed, journalists can submit it directly to the NEC or send it via E-mail: info@nec.gov.kh or Telegram (093 802 734).
Date of Submission and Reception:
- National journalists: from 7 September 2026 to 2 February 2027
- International journalists: from 7 September 2026 to 9 February 2027
